Announcing The Stilly Cowl, Coming Next Month!
Last week I showed you the beautiful skein of Malabrigo Rios yarn that would be turned into my next design. And before that, I gave you a teeny sneak peek at the prototype of the design. And now I can’t wait for you to meet my upcoming design: the Stilly cowl!
The Stilly is named for the Stillaguamish River, where my husband and I got married nearly ten years ago and where he grew up — and his mother before him, and her father before that. I took inspiration from the Stilly’s rocky eddies and the multicolored rocks that fill its banks on the little strip of sand by the family cabin.
- A pocket! The Stilly features a hidden pocket behind the front button flap, just big enough to store important cards. Don’t need a pocket? The pattern gives you instructions for leaving it out.
- It uses almost exactly one skein! That gorgeous yarn is Malabrigo Rios — the color shown is Pocion. The cowl pattern uses almost exactly one skein!
Coming in October
The Stilly is currently in test knitting and the pattern will be released in October. To be the first to know and get special discounts, sign up for my newsletter (and get a shop discount for signing up!).
