A (tiny) sneak peek

With the “Spring Into Summer” Shrug launched (get the pattern today!), it’s time to work on a new design. And this time, it’s going to be all about cables.

I love working with cables. They’re such a great way to add a bit of complexity and texture to your knitting without adding a whole lot of work. With the end of summer upon us, I decided that the next pattern will be a cowl perfect for fall. It’s a design I’ve knitted for myself several times — you’ll actually see it in my Ravelry projects!  But this variation will be something new, beyond a basic cowl, as you can see from the image below. This picture is the prototype — I like knitting my initial design ideas in some inexpensive practice yarn (this particular one is Brown Sheep Nature Spun I had in my stash) and then trying the idea out in something else to see how it translates to other fibers.

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks, including the gorgeous yarn that I picked out just for this design! And remember, you’ll always get these updates first as a newsletter subscriber, along with other benefits like discounts. So sign up today if you haven’t yet.
